Language file

There is no language file in ie yet. If you want to create one, you could choose a language you know from the language list and modify that, or you could just tell a developer what the month and day names should be and ask at meta:Non-development tasks for developers for them to implement it. When MediaWiki 1.4 is released in a few weeks, you will be able to modify these through the MediaWiki namespace in the same way as the rest of the interface. Angela 17:31, 18 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Hi Jmb. I have added some messages from ie.wikipedia to Betawiki. In Betawiki we facilitate translating interface messages for MediaWiki in an easy way: translators translate, we take care of the technical stuff to get it into MediaWiki so *any* MediaWiki installation can benifit from it.
