Español: El Escudo de la Villa de Tolox está dividido en cuatro partes muy significativas donde cada una representa algún elemento típico del municipio siendo espejo inconfundible de la historia y de la realidad actual de la villa:

El pico Torrecilla, cumbre emblemática siempre blanca por la nieve caída en invierno o por el reflejo de la luz sobre sus piedras calizas, situada en la Sierra de las Nieves con una altitud de 1.919 metros, es el pico más alto de Andalucía Occidental.

El pinsapo (Abies Pinsapo), árbol autóctono del municipio, de largas y verdosas ramas que cubren como un manto frondoso las laderas y picos de las montañas, sus copas se divisan por todo el recorrido de la emblemática Sierra de las Nieves, formando maravillosos bosques, este abeto simboliza la estrella botánica del municipio toloxeño.

El naranjo símbolo del cultivo mediterráneo cubre de azahar cada primavera las fértiles huertas de Río Grande y del Río de la Almozara, dándole un color y un olor especial. Del azahar salen las preciadas naranjas (variedad verna) que durante tantos años han sido el sostenimiento de la economía de tantas y tantas familias de este municipio.

El manantial de Fuente Amargosa se encuentra arraigado en el corazón de la Sierra de las Nieves, sus aguas sulfatadas y frías tienen un especial sabor amargo muy característico, ofrecen numerosas propiedades curativas para un sin fin de afecciones, durante años son muchas las personas que se han podido beneficiar de los milagros curativos que se realizan en el Balneario de Tolox donde la maravillosa agua de la fuente es tomada por miles de personas para aliviar los síntomas producidos por afecciones.
