Porta Castiglioni incident

Hello, I write to ask for more information about the Porta Castiglioni incident. You'll see that I have attempted to adopt the page and translate it to the language local to this Wiki (although I was likely to launch a deletion discussion upon completion anyway for want of notability). You have, despite that, proposed it for speedy deletion on the basis of cross-wiki vandalism, for the second time in this article's short lifetime on this wiki (the first time, for the wrong language (it was in Interlingua, with an A... puzzle me that one), I pre-empted, by making a project out of attempting to translate it). Am I, by attempting to translate this page, aiding and abetting a long-term vandal? Ellenor2000 (discussion) 17:41, 4 decembre 2025 (UTC)

@Ellenor2000: checking at the creation log I see only one creation and no deletions beforehand. My request for speedy deletion was due to the original author being Alec Smithson and not as against your actions, which were also the cause I did not outright delete the page as it was substantially edited by a member of community. Correct, there was only one creation. The article was first proposed for speedy deletion on the basis of wrong language by Dorlota, and then I adopted the article to try to improve it. Thank you for clarifying. Ellenor2000 (discussion) 18:47, 4 decembre 2025 (UTC)
